Ebenezer Lawyers is a West Auckland based, small, general practice law firm. We offer expertise in the areas of property, commercial, wills and estates, relationship property and employment law.

What we do, we do exceptionally well. I am very proud to have had our skills and services recognised by our clients who have continued to reward us with their loyalty. We have honed our approach, methods and the processes and applied them across our new firm in Hobsonville, to where, I am delighted to say, many of my Auckland clients have followed me.
Situated roughly halfway between Albany and Westgate on State Highway 18, our location in Auckland positions Ebenezer Lawyers to handle a range of complex matters from one office.

Meet the Team
I started this firm in 2020 as a way of doing things a bit differently, having been a partner at a busy suburban law firm for many years. I have 15 years of experience in all aspects of general practice with a particular focus on property, business sales and purchases, wills, estates, and relationship property.
I understand that engaging a lawyer can sometimes be a novel and intimidating experience. My aim was to remove all the barriers and make the process friendlier, accessible and simplified. No stuffy suits and complex jargon – we keep the legal advice practical and straightforward.
My philosophy is a simple one – help my clients get their transactions completed with as little stress as possible, while always protecting their interests.
I am part of the Hobsonville community, having lived here since 2018. Most Wednesday nights, you will find me at the local Little Creatures Pub Quiz as part of the infamous ‘No Brians’ team.
Outside of the office, I am an avid runner. I will often be training for some running adventure around the world, as I try to tick off all the Abbotts major marathons (if my knees co-operate). My daughter and my two dogs otherwise occupy all my free time.
We have a soft spot for dogs in our office and are happy to have our clients bring in their dogs to client meetings. You will see pictures of our forever employees of the month, Harvey, the Miniature Schnauzer (yes, named after Harvey Specter from Suits) and Maximus (a larger-than-life Jack Russell rescue from the wonderful Saving Hope Foundation).
Alisha Colling is our brilliant legal executive who will often be the primary point of contact for our clients on property matters. Alisha embodies all the values of the firm – down to earth, friendly, and thorough with her work.
